World Championship (Association) Selections

The United States was allocated seven (7) places for the 13th WCF AC World Championship in Adelaide, Australia, April 28 to May 6, 2012.  The USCA selected the following players.

1. Chris Patmore (dropped out)
2. Stuart Lawrence
3. Leo Nikora
4. Tommy Harrington
5. Martyn Selman
6. Jim Houser
7. Peter Bach

Ben Rothman received an automatic place not included in the seven US spots by virtue of reaching the finals in the 2009 WCF AC World Championship held in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2009; but, Rothman cannot attend this year.

There are also six wild cards (available to players from all countries) to be allocated during December, and places available for the top four players in the Qualifier, to be played in Adelaide April 24-26, 2011. The USCA nominated Tommy Harrington.

Team USA lost the Carter Challenge 8-13.

US Retains Solomon Trophy!

Team USA has won the Solomon Trophy for the second consecutive time.

A new book entitled Croquet Secrets by John Riches and Wayne Davies is available from Xlibris. It is a compilation of nearly all of John Riches booklets into one 803-page book.

International Croquet Rules Amended

The rules of International Croquet have been amended effective 15 March 2008. Read a summary, or the details, or the full set of laws with amendments. Download or print the changes. New law books will be available from the USCA office.

Rules

The synopses of the rules of American Croquet, International Croquet, Golf Croquet, and Backyard Croquet have been revised, and new diagrams added.

The 2007 Rules of Backyard Croquet are now on this website, and can be downloaded as a Microsoft Word document.

The 2006 Official Rules of American Croquet are now on this website for your easy viewing and searching. This is a copy of the The Official Rules of the United States Croquet Association Revised 2006 rule book which is also available here for you to print or download.
