Thirty nine Golf Croquet players from around America competed in the Golf Croquet National Championships held on eight spectiacular lawns at the Mission Hills Country Club. Ben Rothman of California took first place in singles, and Paul Bennett & Jacques Fournier of Arizona won doubles.

WCF Golf Croquet Rules (2007 Edition) were used. All games were single banked with no time limit. The tournament director was Ben Rothman; and the tournament manager was Jim Butts.

There were three flights. Championship Flight had sixteen players, and seven doubles teams; First Flight twelve players, and five doubles teams; and Second Flight eight players, and five doubles teams.

Championship Singles

The format was four Round Robin blocks of four players, followed by a Single-Elimination knockout of sixteen players.

Knockout matches were best-of-three thirteen-point games.

At first, block matches were best-of-three thirteen-point games, but on the second day this was changed to one nineteen-point game. All players were then seeded into the knockout.

Championship Flight Doubles

Championship Flight Doubles was a partial (four matches) Round Robin block of seven teams, followed by a Single-Elimination knockout of four teams.

Knockout matches were best-of-three thirteen-point games.

Block matches were best-of-three thirteen-point games. The top four teams were then seeded into the knockout.

First Flight Singles

The format was two Round Robin blocks of six players, followed by a Double-Elimination knockout of eight players.

Knockout all matches were one thirteen-point game until the final, which was best-of-three thirteen-point games.

Block matches were one thirteen-point game. The top four teams in each block were then seeded into the knockout.

First Flight Doubles

Second Flight Doubles was a Round Robin block of five teams, followed by a Single-Elimination knockout of four teams.

Knockout matches were one thirteen-point game in the first round, and best-of-three thirteen-points games in the final.

Block matches were one thirteen-point game. The top four teams were then seeded into the knockout.
