Registration deadline is May 11th, 2026. You must login to the website to register.

The allocation date has passed. All players who put themselves on the waitlist have a position in the tournament. Those players have until March 27th to register and pay. Failure to register by March 27th will result in your position being offered to the next available player.

Any available slots will be offered on a first come first served basis. When the 32-player limit is reached, players may add themselves to the waitlist. When positions become available, they will be filled in the order the players entered the waitlist.

32 player Limit

The entry fee of $360 per player ($200 per social guest) includes daily lunches and courtside drinks and snacks.

Eights with an average DGrade of 1750 or higher will play the standard Eights format of best-of-3-games matches (2 matches per day for the first three days of the event, so up to 6 games in a day). The format for any lower-ranked Eights or groups will depend on entry and will be determined by the TD.

Bald Head Island is a golf cart only island. No cars allowed.

Ferry service leaves from Deep Point Marina in Southport approximately every 1 ½ hours.

Make ferry reservations ahead of time at www.baldheadislandferry.com or 910-457-5003.

Ferry tickets are $23 pp round trip. Parking at the ferry terminal is $13 per day (carpooling

makes sense).

If staying on the island, your ferry ticket will come with a tram reservation to your

housing. Most rentals have a golf carts and bicycles for you to use once on island but

be sure to confirm what is included in your stay.

If staying in Southport and coming to the island daily, please also book tram service to

the Bald Head Island Club when making your ferry reservations. Tram service is

included in the price of your ferry tickets. When making your tram reservation you will

put in the address of 1 Salt Meadow in order to be taken to the BHI Club and croquet

courts.

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Monday, May 11, 2026 at 6:00 PM

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made prior to the deadline will receive a credit to your account less a $25 handling charge. Any cancellation made after the deadline will forfeit any fees made except in the case of injury or illness less a $25 handling fee. Should an event be cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, a full refund will be made to participants.
